We too are experiencing the issue of all Access databases intermittently hanging after upgrading to IIS v6.0. The SP8 Jet v4.0 Service Pack is installed, and due to SharePoint Team Services v1.0 we must run in IIS 5.0 Isolation mode.

The current fix is to recycle the application pool, but this can only be done when running Worker Process Isolation Mode (IIS v6.0 mode). So we've resorted to restarting IIS every evening, but this disconnects all FTP sessions and disrupts user downloads.

Two questions - is there an alternate method to recycle application pool space in IIS 5.0 Isolation Mode without issuing an IISRESET?

And, is there an expected ETA on the Jet fix to address Access database hangs running on IIS v6.0?
