Only thing I can think of is that XP Home Edition cannot join Domains, hence
if your website has files ACL'd to domain users but NOT ACL'd to your local
XP Home Edition user, you won't have permissions to see those files on XP
Home.

If so, the solution is to either
1. Fix the ACLs yourself on the server to give your XP Home Edition user
access by manually synchronizing user accounts on the server and XP (domains
do this for you automatically)
2. Use XP Pro and join the domain of the server

Web folder appears empty when it is not and opening of folder no longer
requests
login. This problem occures on an XP Home Edition operating system PC
accessing Windows Server.
Other pc's and OS systems have no problem accessing site (view, add, delete
files).
Originally was able to view, add, and remove files with the XP HE computer.
Subsequent attempts
to access folder only displays empty folder (zero bytes, zero files, zero
folders).
This only occures on XP HE PC.
I have deleted temporary internet files, have cleared history for
autocomplete user names and passwords. logged off user, logged back on user,
rebooted. Deleted Webfolder, and created new web folder. New does not
request login, and a login
should be required. Target site has files (it's a website), folders etc.
What can I do / change?
