When the Application Pool stops, the reason and error code will be logged in
the Event Log. Can you give that information.
You should not use IISRESET to restart an Application Pool. Just need to
hit "Start" for the given Application Pool from the UI (or give the
appropriate script command) and it will be running again.
IISRESET should never be used with IIS6. Recycling an Application Pool
(like hitting "Start") should be sufficient.
