Re: Setting up Web Folders on a Server

I added the user through Administrative Tools / Computer Management / Local
Users and Groups.
They are a member of Users

I had unchecked Anonymous and have Basic Checked (I have also tried
Integrated)

The odd thing is I just tried accessing the folder directly through IE6. It
asked for my username and password and I was able to see the folder and
subfolders, etc.

I went back to Add Network Place, entered the same url, username, and
password, and it keeps asking me for the username and password.

So it looks like the basic setup is correct but for some reason I can't
access it through Network Place. I wouldn't that it would matter which
program is trying to connect.

Thanks for your help, I do appreciate it

Richard
