Frontpage server extensions 2002 does not work with UNC shares on IIS 6.0

Hello everyone,
This is the last post I will make before I have to contact Microsoft
support.I want to make Frontpage Server Extensions 2002 work with UNC
shares in IIS 6.0 but there seem to be one issue or the other with
it.Has anyone been able to make Frontpage Server Extensions 2002 work
in this scenario?The specifications are:

1. Windows 2003 server
2. IIS 6.0 web server
3. Home Directory on a UNC share located on a windows 2003 server
4. Windows Integrated or Basic Authentication for the Directory
Security (whichever works best for now.Eventually I would like to
configure windows integrated authentication as the authentication
method.)
5. Domain account for the web application pool
6. Domain account for the anonymous user account
7. Domain account to access the UNC share
8. Full NTFS and share permissions for all the related domain accounts
on the UNC share.

I have read and followed the procedures on these microsoft
documentation.

Nothing seems to be working.Has anyone managed to make FPSE2002 work
with UNC shares on IIS 6.0?I would really appreciate it if someone
