Hi Eric,

The NTFS driver places a hidden attribue to the volume of drives. IIS
accounts for this when the drive is a local drive but it does not handle it
the same way when remote drive is encountered.

The only two work arounds are:

1. store your content in subdirectories off the root and provide a basic
default.htm to link to them
2. chang the shared volume to FAT, and use share level permissions.
