Going to need waaaaay more information than that. Check your logs
first: were these messages received more than once at your MX? Did the
sessions terminate normally?
What mailbox type and vendor are you using (IMAP? POP?). Do you have
lower-level access to the mailbox, so you can see if the dupes exist
on server and client side?
How frequent is this problem?
