I don't think so. I have to cancel out, and when I go back in, the settings
are back to where they used to be.
It may help to know that I'm trying to set this up so I can enable incoming
e-mail on sharepoint v3, which sits on this server. But when I try to set up
an e-mail for a sharepoint site, it says it can't create the account because
access is denied. We have an otherwise fully functional AD/Exchange topology
on Win2003 servers.

Ya. got that as well. but the config actually made into the system, right?.
something to do with the old config system, should not relate to firewall at
all.

Yes, it looks like the way to do this is to go into the IIS6 module and
set
things up in there. But now when I set up the relay I get "unspecified
error." Does this have to do with Server 2008's firewall?

I'm trying to set up the default SMTP virtual server in IIS7/Server 2008.
But I can't find out how to set relay settings. I can't even find the
Default SMTP Virtual Server properties, only SMTP E-mail, and that
doesn't
really have anything I'm looking for.
In IIS6/Server 2003 it's under properties/Access tab/relay. Anyone know
where it is here? Thanks.
