Re: Stand alone mail server help?....

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Just going to be used as an internal mail delivery from my forum on my
webserver when users post question. Mail will not be sent out over the
internet, just to the server inbox for me only.

OK... though maintaining POP3 Service seems like overkill for one
private inbox, and I would be more inclined to use SMTP only,
smarthosted to a properly set up (for remote delivery) outbound
gateway, and from there to a real account @ a real domain. That'd give
you the ability to actually _respond_ to messages using this dedicated
mailbox.

I would use the FQHN of the host as the POP3 domain in your scenario.
