SMTP service is in w2k8 as it does in 6 on w2k3. but expect no changes
and it still runs in inetinfo.exe

To install smtp service. go server manager > add features > smtp server.

Well,

I was there, there is no smtp server feature. I will look again. (I'm
talking of build 6001 RC0)
