As of late(last couple of days) I have come across an interesting item. In
IIS Manager when looking at Current Sessions for the smtp server there are
tons of connections with a connected time well past my timeout setting which
I have at 5 minutes. Times are more like 60000 seconds. This host acts as a
mail gateway for my internal exchange server. Another thing is the emails in
Queue tend to pile up really fast, probably due to the fact that it has to
many connections. Any info would be appreciated.
