Yes I'm using passive mode and I disabled the Windows firewall.

I'm using WS_FTP Pro
When I do ftp://websitename I get the following response:

Finding host websitename
Connecting to websitename
Connection Failure

Turn off the Windows Firewall and try again.

Also, try using passive mode.

Hosting a simple Web Server on Windows XP IIS.

Everything works fine except can not access the site using WS_Ftp. It
finds and apparently connects to the site ok but then says "Error reading
response from server"

WS_ftp works great with my Comcast hosted web site, no problems.

Suggestions please.
