vdir by design is not listed under normal dir listing.
the trick for this is to create a physical folder with the same name underneath the ftp root. or the location path root.
Hi,
I have just played a little whith the FTP addon for IIS7 from iis.net (under Vista 64).
From your answer, I understand that virtual directories should not appear but in my case, SOME virtual directories does appear, some other are hidden. I have checked the checkbox "Virtual directories" under "Display the following information in directory listings" when setting up "FTP Directory browsing". Does this setting allow showing virtual dirs (or what) ?
I am using Filezilla 3.1.1 client and I can see these "hidden vdirs" (i.e. all of them instead of some of them) by checking "Server->Show hidden files show" (LIST -a). When using the windows Vista ftp command line tool, all vdirs are displayed with "ls".
To sum up, I have noticed that only vdirs pointing to a volume root (e.g. I:\) does not appear in "normal" directories listings : is there some explanation about this behaviour ?
Thanks.
