situation:
- A SpeedTouch router connected to Internet.
- A Win 2003 server running a few FTP server's (IIS6).
Everything was working fine.
I now want Wifi and changed the SpeedTouch for a Netgear DG834GT
(router-switch-access point). The Win 2003 server is set in the DMZ
When one will logon via Internet to a FTP on standard port (21)
everything is still working fine..but when one will logon on a FTP on
another (higher) port one can logon and make the connection but then
the following error's are received :
- in active modus > 500 invalid port command
- in passive modus > 426 connection closed (by the list command)
I replace (for test) the old SpeedTouch router and everything is
working fine. That mean the problem is with the Netgear router.
All the remaining is working OK (http & https are also OK)
Just FTP's server on not standard port.
Can someone help me out this please ?
