Please excuse the barging in - I have something that I have no experience
with and would appreciate a seasoned voice.
I have a new Win Server 2003 server set up and running in our domain, and
we need to use FTP to read / write files to it. I have installed FTP and
can log in to the FTP just fine by using "anonymous" and any password.
Unfortunately, I cannot log in to the FTP site using a domain user
/password normal account, either through an IE browser or using ftp.exe at
a command prompt. All I get is a "user cannot log in" error. So anonymous
works fine, but not domain accounts. The permissions look to me to be the
same as on our other Win 2003 AD domain controller server, which also has
FTP and works perfectly. What am I donig wrong?
Thanks for any advise.
Dale
