Re: FTP enabled even with NTFS & ACLs preventing access !!!???

Is this administrator account? I verified that administrator able to go into
ftproot, even the account got Deny ALL permissions in NTFS.
For other account, the NTFS permissions should be working.

Hello Everyone,

We just installed and SBS 2003 with IIS 6 and a FTP server, including
anonymous access.
We are stuck because even without any access rights at the NTFS level (
nothing at all, and the owner is a different user ) we are still about to
get in that folder thru FTP !
We tried by Http with browsing enabled, and get a HTTP 401.3 ( ACL
refused, which is right )
There is no other server on the network nor any other directory that may
confuse use, and this problems is really strange.
Even the SYSTEM account cannot reach that folder.

Thanks for any return of experience regarding that problem.

Kind regards,
Philippe
