I'm able to access the ftp site on any computer from the command prompt.
BUT, when I use Internet Explorer, I get an Access Denied. I'm using the
same username and password but I get this error ONLY from a windows 2000
computer.

Any Ideas?

Make sure the client computer is not running a firewall or virus scanner
or
other "protective" software.

Some of those apps will block outbound FTP access.

An easy way to test this is to try to connect to FTP somewhere else.
