I'm not sure what's your problem.....
200 means command ok, 227 stands entering passive mode, 550 is access error.

clues.

Next, are you getting tons of 550 or you have problem issue login to your
ftp server?
have you try connect via ftp.exe ?

i have check out what 550 error is.
its supposedly a denial of service attack.

i have started to use core FTP free.
and the 550 error is the only one left.

could this problem be from the fact that i am trying to send
information to myself.
i mean out going ip could be taking all the bandwidth and incoming is

omg this is annoying.

Monday will try again at work and see if i still get the 550 error.

3 PCs 1 router 1 ip.
1 xp home
1 xp pro
1 sever 2003 sp2

i am using xp home to upload content to server 2003
i am getting 550 error

xp pro is off (i only have enough power at home to power 2 PCs at a
time.)

how do i configure security so that everything goes smooth
