Oops, corrected spelling error.
XP Pro SP2
In Internet Information Services MMC, I check Write in Default FTP Site.
This allows me to upload to various folders.
However, I have a folder called MyFolder which I don't want anyone to FTP
upload to.
C:\Inetpub\Ftproot\MyFolder\
I open the properties of MyFolder in File Explorer.
I select the Web Sharing tab.
The Default Web Site has Do Not Share This Folder option selected.
In theory, no one should be able to write a file to this folder.
I go into IE and ftp://... to the folder.
I paste a file.
FTP starts to write to MyFolder.
Why is FTP able to write to MyFolder?
How do I set the access protection so no one can upload to MyFolder?
Thank you for the feedback.
