It actually took a reboot. This is going to have about 250 sites on it. Do
you know anything about why the firewall won't start? I turned off the
service Routeing and Remote Access and I still can't get into the firewall.
I plan on putting a Cisco Pix infront of this server. I am sure it won't
matter but it is just bothersome that I can't get it to work.
Thank you for your help

Ok, start with basic first..
if you getting
5- FTP says "This site cannot be started because another site is running on
this computer is already using the IP address and TCP port values that you
have specified for this site. Please change either the IP Address or the
TCP
port values for this site."
how many ftp sites you running? if you have more than 1 make sure ip/port
are unique.
also check if you have other program binding on port 21.
command prompt, entere
c:\> nestat -ano
do you see any port 21 binding?

I guess I should tell you that this same IP and website works fine on my
other 2003 Server. I am not using Active Directory on the other one that
is
why I don't want to put this site there. I am in testing mode. However,
I
can't even get this to start without isolation
Thanks again

Have 2003 v2 Server- Domain name is myco.local.
1- Setup 1 website on the server ie. 10.0.0.200 port 80
2- active directory user is there
3- Website is viewable
4- Setup FTP IP - Same 10.0.0.200- Port 21 - Stopped
5- FTP says "This site cannot be started because another site is running

6- Even if I am not ISOLATING USERS just setting up a basic FTP i get the
same error. I want is ISOLATE.
Could this still have something to do with RRAS??
I just had an Issue with RRAS beinging on but since I stopped the service
the website is viewable.
1st - can anyone help me with this
2nd - does anyone have documentation on setting up from the beginning -
everything that it takes to ISOLATE USERS with Active directory?
THANK YOU SO MUCH
