Please help!!: FTP server is starting to be unresponsive!

Hi,
I haven't received any ideas or suggestions. We just moved the server from
one hosting facility to another, but the FTP was working OK after the move.
The move was about 2 weeks ago, and this non-responsiveness has started
around 1 week ago. Is there anything I can do to try to narrow down where
the problem is?
If I use a program like bulletproof FTP and have the retry count up, it will
eventually go through - just takes many retries.
Thank you for any help you can offer!
