Hi,

I am still stuck with this but have further tried the following:

I have given Access this computer from the network permission to
MACHINENAME\IUSR_MACHINENAME.

I have aslo set he default authentication domain to the machine name using:

Adsutil Set MSFTPSVC/DefaultLogonDomain "MACHINENAME"

Neither of these have helped, I still get an error 530. I have also tried to
set up an FTP server on my home machine that is not part of a somain and I
get an error 530 there too. I can't believe that this is so problematic!

Any ideas?

TIA
