Hi
I'm trying to set an FTP server behind router WRT54G
(lynksys wireless). When I configure ftp connection
localhost I have access to my folder and files, from any
computer on my network, but when I configure an IP from my
internet provider I receive an error message:
*********
FTP Folder error
Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the
file name correctly and that you have permission to access
the folder
Details:
The FTP session was terminated
*********
I changed the settings in my router for
Port Range Forward
port = 20-21 IP Static = my network server IP(where the
FTP is) and enabled it
It didn't work
Then I disabled Port Forward and enabled DMZ
It didn't work
In my Internet Explorer 6.0 sp1in the advanced options I
checked passive FTP
It didn't work
Then again in Internet Explorer I unchecked Allow browsing
files FTP
It didn't work
I have to mention that only anonymous users are allowed, I
don't have a password, I disabled my antivirus(? In case),
I scanned my port on grc.com and its open
I dont even know if i'm connected to the ftp or its just
the browsing problem
I am out of ideas.help anyone!?
