No idea about project xml format but with xslt you would just create
html, and map the value of a duration to the width attribute of an
image, say make it 10px high and your value of pixels wide.

Possibly you might want to find the maximum value from the nodes, and
make sure the image width is scaled to the maximum being 100% width.

Really, as long as you can specify the html you want to produce from
the project file, you can write xslt to process it into html which
matches your desired output format.

If you want more help you'll have to post a complete but minimal
example input file and an example of your desired output.
