RE: ASP Help Needed



Hi!

This is interesting, and I needed an answer to this too, once. Use datetags,
for example. What you can do is provide an extra (numeric) field that is the
sum of all the days since (say) 01 jan 2000. Use datediff() to do the math.
Then, sort on that field. Derive the difference, again, using datediff()

Or, dont touch the database (best practice - if you did a PORPER analisys
beforehand you may not neet to) and use datediff to get to these dates that
you need....
It seems possible to use VBS functions in SQL...

Annother tip, (maybe) is to use this syntax #dd/mm/yyyy# (or whatever your
dateformat may be) to force strict reading...

(all this of the top of my head, been late last nite, clarity to be added as
needed....)
