I have a Intranet Server accessing Remote Databases (DB2/W2K, Sybase and
DB/400) with ASP applications. Since last week, once a day, the Server goes
to 100% CPU Usage and only a total reboot can solve the problem (Restart IIS
does nothing). The Server runs SP5 beucause we have a Crystal Report issue
with bugs, fixes and the most stable version of the server runs with SP5
since 2001.
1)
Development team, always say: "ASP Code and components has not changed"
(I've found 3 ASP files with recent modification changes and i would like to
know how can i discover if some component was changed recently if some code
changes occurred, etc)
2) IIS Exception Monitor can help in this case? Where i can find a Link to
Download it? There is a better method? I have a single Default Web Site and
a virtual dir with hundreds of ASP files and i have no ideia on which
application is causing the problem (All app is running in Isolated Mode)
I think Performance Monitor can't show me wich ASP App was running on the
moment of the problem.
I'm not a developer, nor a DBA, i'm a infrastructure specialist
