You can use the dsoframer control to control the open process.
did you modified the OpenDocumentsReadWriteWhileBrowsing value?

Thanks for the reply.
What is the OpenDocumentsReadWriteWhileBrowsing Value ?
Is this a registry setting ? If so, is there a link to some info because I
am not keen to start messing around with such settings on customer
machines.
I also don't know what a dsoframer control is. I am using iWebBrowser2
directly from C/Win32.
