Incomplete HTTP Headers during Basic Authentication inside BHO

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hello,

I'm trying to intercept HTTP/HTTPS request headers sent by IE during
Basic Authentication inside a BHO to try to capture the username &
password. I am using the Passthrough Asynchronous Pluggable Protocol
classes generously provided by Igor Tandetnik on these forums. I have
no problem retrieving the HTTP headers under normal circumstances.
However, during Basic Authentication, the these headers do not show up
in IHttpNegotiate::BeginningTransaction.

Is there another way of extracting the username & password? Please
note that I simply trying to intercept the username & password and not
trying to change them in any way and thus IAuthenticate does not
appear to be of any use.

There are certainly ugly ways of grabbing this information such as
Win32 CBT hooks on the authentication dialogs etc. However I was
looking for a cleaner solution.

Anyway here have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
