Currently, I am using JavaScript's "window.showModalDialog" to help me
achieve this. However, in case I have the pop up blocker installed, it
blocks my login window.

How can I go about launching my dialog even if the pop up blocker is
installed?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
