embedded browser control that accepts all keyboard input.

hello all,
can someone point me to some sample code (preferably win32 and C++; no
MFC) that implements an embedded browser control with full keyboard
support (which I think means IOleInPlaceActiveObject)? I have seen
plenty of implementations on codeguru and codeproject that implement a
variant of an embedded browser control, but nothing that implements
the ability to receive all keyboard events (e.g. WM_KEYUP).
thanks.
