IE does support these tags.
I am not sure that I did understand correctly what is your problem, but if
it is the "bullet" symbols (bold dots on the left of the list items) you do
not see them because of the definitions in your css file.

Hi, I am trying to rewrite some of the word documents and turn them into
HTML
4.01 standard. However, I tried uploading my pages, and when I use IE
browser
to view it,
http://www.indiana.edu/~liblilly/lilly/mss/subfile/younginv.html,
it has a big blank space after the end of the page.
The page has been validated, and when I tried to use other browsers, this
problem does not exist. Can you please tell me if IE supports this kind of
function of long <ul>, <ol> and <div> tags? If not, can you please suggest
me
what kind of tags to use?
