How to obtain the selected text in IE web page?

Hi,
I have added a toolbar button to IE and iam accessing the web page
contents in the web page also on click of the button. Now, if user has
selected some area of text on web page, and clicks the button i want to
obtain that part of text alone. How to do this?Please somebody help
me..
