I could not get the question. Are you talking about Internet Explorer's
address bar, or, your very own address bar?

In former case, you may install a BHO, and I think it can access
address bar as well. This allows you to check it's content. You may
also subclass the window and receive window messages (therefore, OK
button clicks, etc.). I am not sure if it works, this is just theory.

In latter case... What's wrong?
