You seem to think that it could be THE problem. Have you made sure if it is?
Would you mind posting that long URL (substituting some parts if necessary -
like company name)?
Maybe I could do some experiments with it!

Hey, I used your "Vermont Views" for almost 8 years on Unices. We had bought
the sources in 1990 IIRC. I had spent a lot of time browsing the sources
when developing programs using it.
