I am setting a cookie in one page and reading it from other pages.

At one point, I am executing client side script to force the user to go to another page using window.parent.location.href = 'http://mysite/page1.asp'.

I am reading the cookie in page1.asp and find that it is missing. But when I continue with other pages I still see the cookie.
If I reach the same page(page1.asp) by clicking on a link from menu, I am able to see the cookie.

Why am I missing the cookie in that page? Please help me find a answer.
