If so, that's because the certificate name on exchange server doesn't match the one on ISA rule, (you're using bridge mode in ISA 2004, it should be automated in ISA 2006). The simply way is to add IP address in the rule and then you may have time to fix the certificate problem.

Ping FQDN works. responds with my static ip address ok.
Have played about with different settings, and think it's an issue with the certificate. Have tried deleting certificates and re-issuing them through certsrv etc and stilll no joy, as the error message is now:
a.. Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted. (-2146893019)
Can';t for the life of me work this one out. :-(

1. DNS problem, by running ping FQDN to find whether mapping is correct to IP address
2. Please try https://FQDN/exchange

"Ian Bethell" <djsky@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:5hfMh.16876$2F5.12441@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxYes, on my LAN I can go to http://officeserver/exchange and then it comes up with a message about "there is a problem with the website's security certificate" as it was issued for a different website's address, but I click the option to "Continue to this website (Not recommended)" and it works fine, logon screen and loggin in works as normal.
But when entering the FQDN (even from the server) I get the error message "The page cannot be displayed...."
a.. Error Code: 403 Forbidden. The server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)

"Ian Bethell" <djsky@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:vpcMh.3248$5c2.2001@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxQuite simply, OWA is not working from the outside of our intranet.
I did manage to get up the log on screen at some point, but then it returned error message, but now i can't even get to the log on screen.
It just displays the error message:
a.. Error Code: 403 Forbidden. The server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)
tried https and http://FQDN/exchange

"Ian Bethell" <djsky@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:kQaMh.3241$5c2.1904@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxHi, I recently upgraded from ISA2000 to ISA2004 on my SBS2003 sp2 Machine.
Now, I cannot get into Outlook web access, or Remote Web Workplace. I have tried going through the "application layer firewall protection for exchange server 2003 with ISA Server 2004" procedures on http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2004/plan/firewall-exchange2003.mspx but still no joy. - one thing I noted was that when selecting the available ip addresses in creating the web listener, I only see one ip address being the external one on the internet.
If anyone could help, i would be most appreciative.
Ian.
