You may be closer than you think.
Very often, network problems can be exposed through ISA reactions.
Now is when the troubleshooting gets interesting.
I'll respond privately with a link to PSS.

Errors occured with a HTTP, FTP, ICQ (like tcp outbound), POP, SMTP
protocols. There are 0x80074e24 codes in log and nothing else. When try to
"telnet mail.domain.com pop3", i can get the messages header in POP3
session, but when try to get a whole message - nothing happend (connection
closed). Look's like ISA cannot transfer a "large" information packets to
these clients.
90% of users work fine, but there are some clients (with ip's from
subnetwork 10.10/16) which all have this problems. These clients are placed
behind two routers.
Possible packets from these clients have a special formed packets which are
dropped by ISA.
I didn't see solution... :(

Sometimes it's because an application filter determined that the client or
remote server violate the protocol or the client or remote server forcibly
shut down the connection.
Check your alerts and application event log for ISA alerts for that
traffic.

Oh, I now about code description - WSA_RWS_CONNECTION_KILLED or
FWX_E_CONNECTION_KILLED. This mean that ISA was kill connection and it's
not
timeout case.
But, which the reason of this error? All looks clear and some ip clients
works fine, but some clients have this error and nothing work.
Where is problem? I have no answer.

Hello!
Have some ip clients that are terminated with 0x80074e24 code in ISA
firewall log.
For example: corp.network is 10.10/16, all clients are internet allowed
without any restrictions; have clients, that are placed inside, but are
reached throught many routers with possible ip packet fragmentation;
fragmented packets are allowed.
Question: why ISA terminates packets with 0x80074e24 code with this
conditions?
Thanks.
