Did you stop and restart the ISA firewall service after installing the
certificate? I've always had to do that.
Was it the Basic authentication thing? You really have my curiosity going,
since I can't see why that article is needed.

I posted a couple days ago about connecting from an internal client behind
ISA to an external Checkpoint SSL Extender website.
I got some really good suggestions from Ray (thanks, Ray!), which got me
started in the right direction. But I still can't quite get it to work.
I found "Configuring Internal Client Access To Web Sites Over SSL" which
is
obviously exactly what I want to do:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/isa/2004/plan/client_ssl.mspx
And it's simple enough, but I can't seem to get the certificate from the
external website properly installed on the isa server.
I go through all the steps outlined in appendix a in the document (this
takes place in the browser), including the "verification" that it's
installed
properly. But when I go to set up the Bridging in the last step of the
setup,
the cert is not listed. In fact NO certs are listed.
I'm missing something.
Any Bridging experts out there? What do I have to do to get a Cert to show
up as available for bridging.
