In the properties of your ISA web proxy service... are you using integrated
authentication? If yes, try disabling that and switching to basic
authentication - if it starts working, then you found your problem. Sun's
Java has been known to exhibit problems with NTLM authentication. They have
solved this a while ago in the 1.42 release but you might be dealing with a
regression bug there - or not, so that is why it's important to diagnose it
first as per the above.

If it turns out to be the authentication mechanism then your best bet is to
see what Sun tells you about this.

Using SBS Server 2000 with ISA 2000. Have Firewall client installed and
using Web Proxy settings in Internet Explorer. Have successfully been

We have not changed any settings in ISa or on the clients. Why did it
stop working?
