Hi,
I have a very strange problem using Windows Messenger with Exchange IM
Messaging over a VPN thru our ISA Server (2000).
The VPN is established using a software Cisco VPN client (v4.6) and it works
fine for all application and services except for Windows Messenger: it seems
that it connect correctly with the IM server on the other side of the VPN
but when building the contact list the application hangs. Please note that
if I run the VPN directly on the internet bypassing the ISA server Windows
Messenger works correctly.
Note that on the ISA server I've set the Protocols Definitions (and Protocol
Rules) and the IP Packet Filters for UDP ports 500, 1701, 4500 and 10000
(required by IPSec).
Any hint?
Thanks in advance.
Ciao
