If your only way out to the internet is through the ISA Server, bypassing
that one is not a solution. It seems that the problem is that that ISA
server passes the authentication of your domain account you use to connect to
the ISA Server to the Hotmail Service, resulting in being rejected. The
workaround I found in this one is to add the hotmail.com UPN Suffix to your
domain through Active Directory Domain and Trusts, and set your domain
account User Logon Name, found in the Account Tab in Active Directory Users
and Computers/Your Account Properties, to youraccount@hotmail.com
(youracccount equals to your hotmail account name). This does not affect the
funtionality of your domain.
