Hello,
have you tried a different mail client other than OE?
Was this working before? If yes, what changed in your network (software/hardware changes)
I need a little more information from the ISA server,
Please connect to the following web site and download the ISAINFO utility:
http://www.isatools.org/ISAInfo.ex_
Once you download this utility to the ISA server rename it and run it and then execute the resulting isainfo.vbs file.
This will create an ISAINFO.txt file that you can then upload to our Microsoft FTP server for analysis at
ftp://ftppss.microsoft.com/incoming/premier.
Please post reply when the file has been upload it.

Hi everyone, I trying to send e-mail from Outlook Express installed on a PC
behind ISAServer2k with firewall client
I use a normal external SMTP server of my ISP: if the mail I send is small
(say less than 1Kb) i see no problem and the mail goes normally to the SMTP
server for delivery.
>From this I would say the ISA configuration is OK: unfortunately if I try to
send a mail a little larger, then the problems begins.
OE connect the SMTP server and the progress bar increments while it start
sending datas, but after a little while the bar stops and, after a minute an
error message inform me that the SMTP server has timed out. I tell OE to
wait another 60 seconds, but the connection drop few moments after.
I've checked the FW log on ISAserver, but I see no indication that ISA
cutted off the connection, so I'm confused about where the problem lies.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks
Luca
