Help!!
I have recently moved my network from a Qwest DSL setup to a Eschelon
T1 setup.
For the past two years we have been running ISA server as our firewall
and exchange 2000 as our email server. The ISA server (obviously)
receieves all inbound and outbound traffic and determines what to do
with it.
Presently I have 9 other physical locations that connect into my
exchange server (using either outlook or outlook express) for email.
Since the switch of internet service providers, My users have been able
to recieve incoming emails and but cannot send email out to the outside
world.
In talking with my new provider I have been told that I need to setup
port forwarding for port 25, on the ISA server. Unfortunately I am not
as knowledgible about how to do this as I need to be and need some
help.
Also I am not sure this is actually the problem in the first place. In
the past we have setup some of our remote locations with this same ISP
and those locations had problems sending email out from our server as
well.
Can someone help me with this issue. Right now I have my remote staff
using the Exchange webfront to send email, but this isn't the most
ideal solution.
FYI the error my remote users are seeing is a 550 error.
