I don't know much about Citrix so I am guessing here....

There are two preexisting ICA Protocols in ISA, but they are for outbound
usage. Look at the details of them and duplicate them exactly except that
you change the direction on the traffic. Outbound becomes Inbound and
Send-Receive becomes Receive-Send

When "naming" them give them the same name except you add "Server" on the
end of the name.

Use them in the publishing rule.

That is the best I can tell you. I never publish that,...I always use VPN
and then connect with whatever I want to whatever I want over the VPN.

Thanks for the response, Phillip.

When creating a server publishing rule one of those Citrix servers
(192.168.1.24), what should the content of the Protocol config look like?
Would it be correct to create a custom protocol containing ports 81, 1494
&
2598, TCP, inbound?

You can only do one Cirix box and it requires a Server Publishing Rule
(Non-Webserver Publsihing Rule).

To do two Citrix boxes requires two Public IP#s

It would be much better to use VPN.
Connect by VPN first,...then connect to whichever Citrix box you want.

I'm running ISA2004 on SBS2003.

I have a Citrix gateway server on the ISA external port that needs to
communicate to 2 other citrix servers on the internal network via ports
81,
1494 & 2598.

Citrix gateway server: 192.168.5.18
Citrix server1: 192.168.1.23
Citrix server2: 192.168.1.24
ISA External IP: 192.168.5.13
ISA Internal port: 192.168.1.13

I'm struggling to setup rules to make this work.
Should I have an access rule only, publish the servers, or both?

I'll be greatfull if someone can assist me in with the config of these
rules.

Many thanks.
