So, is this a bug in ISA server?
Is there a hotfix for it?

I get the same results with ISA2006. But I telnet'ed to port 25 the way mail.
is supposed to do. Ping is not a proper test. If I use a machine that is
outside of ISA I can Telnet fine to it.
Anyway, I don't know what to make of it.

You can do a reverse DNS lookup for that ip address and it will tell you
it's
smtp110.rog.mail.re2.yahoo.com
You can just do simple test like I did, if you have an ISA server. and you
will see my point.

Can you prove it is an SMTP Server for Yahoo?
Can you show other examples?

This is just an example. What I mean by connect to it is try to ping
the
ip
address.
When I ping it from internal, I got no response. If I ping it on the
ISA
server, I got an response.
This example ip address it's an smtp server from yahoo.com. It try to
sent
email to my server. But the ISA server terminate the connection with
status
saying "Failed connection attempt"
So I begin to do test. And it seems like ISA server does not like ip
address ends with 0.
When I do a ping from internal, there is no trace of it on the ISA
server.
It does not show up in the log files, it not in the diagnostic log
either.

Hi
I have a problem with ISA server, when I try to connect to internet
address
that ends with 0 (eg. 206.190.37.0) from internal network, I can not
connect
to it.
But if I do it on the ISA server itself, there is no problem.
Has anyone encounter this problem before?
