Configure SBS using the installation Wizards. Do not attempt to configure
SBS without the Wizards.
SBS needs to be the Premium Edition to use ISA.
ISA needs to be installed off of the SBS Premium Installation disks and not
from a stand-alone ISA installation disk.
Post questions in one of the relevant SBS Groups for more specific details.

I?ve been working on this most of the day, starting with a co-worker
calling to tell me she couldn?t access Remote Web Workplace. I have
tried many different things, but keep getting the same problem, ISA
port bindings are conflicting with IIS. I?m not sure why this just
started happening, it may have something to do with the Windows
updates I applied last night.
I was going to change the web site ports in IIS, however doing this
did not allow me to start Default Web Site. So, I changed the web
listener in ISA to listen on ports 81 and 446 instead of 80 and 443.
This works, however it?s not ideal as you have to type in the port to
get to anything now.
I?m continuing to investigate this but have been coming up short so
far.
Any help would be appreciated.
These are the main two errors I'm getting.
If ISA has the ports and I try to start Default Web Site I get:
Unable to bind to the underlying transport for x.x.x.x:80. The IP
Listen-Only list may contain a reference to an interface which may not
exist on this machine. The data field contains the error number.
If IIS has the ports and ISA tries to start a listenere I get:
The Web Proxy filter failed to bind its socket to x.x.x.x port 80.
This may have been caused by another service that is already using the
same port or by a network adapter that is not functional. To resolve
this issue, restart the Microsoft Firewall service. The error code
specified in the data area of the event properties indicates the cause
of the failure.
