Due to hacking attempts by viruses and other scum we had to force
employees that had Tom, Bob, Sally, etc as their usernames to tsmith,
bjones, sdoe, etc. For almost all but one user there was no problem with
going to AD and changing the name.
This one user is being prompted by Inetenet Explorer for a password for
their old username "MYDOMAIN\Tom" whenever they attempt to access the
Internet. The can enter their new credentials and get on the Internet
fine, but the prompt with the old name is annoying. Is there something in
IE saving their old credentials for some reason?
