No it would not happen automatically. What you see is normal for ISA2000.

An ISA2006 Listener will bind to a specific IP or to "any IP" on an
interface.
Bind to an interface you are fine
Bind to a specific IP# then you have the same problem as with 2000.
It is not really a "problem",...it is just logically the obvoius way it
would be in a such a situation. The Listener is not going to know
automatically what IP# you want it to bind to, partcularly if there is
more than one IP on the interface,...so you have to tell it which to use
yourself.

just wondering if this is normal. I changed IP configuration for ISA
server 2000 external interface and all my publishing rules still reflect
the old address? I don't have a whole lot of rules so its no big deal to
manually update them but I guess I was assuming this would happen
automatically? I assumed they would be tied to the 'interface' rather
than the IP? Just looking for a little ISA enlightenment and of course if
it was not supposed to happen how it did for me I need to know if this is
an indication of a problem I need to address.
