Yes, you can use another proxy in front of ISA. Proxy Chaining is the way to
go. Its pretty simple and straightforward
The proxy device should support at least basic authentication. I have tried
a scenario with a Linux based Proventia device and it worked perfectly well
with Basic Auth.

Is it possible for ISA to route all its web requests to the internet through.
another proxy server that is not ISA?
Configuration would look like:
Internal Client ===> ISA 2006 ===> Proxy ===> Internet Server
I see information about chaining ISA servers as proxies but I am not sure
how to achieve the above.
By the way the proxy that I want to chain ISA to uses a web page to
authenticate the user before allowing access to the Internet, will this be a
problem for ISA?
Any help will be appreciated
