ISA doesn't support multicast traffic.
Thus, so long as the Acronis app uses MC traffic it doesn't matter how you
define the protocols.

Hi,
On a server in my network I have Acronis Enterprise installed. On the ISA
2004 server I installed the agent. Now I want to make an image of isa 2004
via the management console of Acronis.
So I must make an connection from my Member server to my Isa 2004 server.
Acronis True Image Enterprise Server uses the following ports and IP
addresses for remote operation:
.. server (Acronis True Image Agent) UDP port: 9876
.. server (Acronis True Image Agent) TCP port: 9876, if busy chose port at
random
.. client (Acronis True Image Management Console) UDP port: 9877, if busy
chose port at random
.. IPv4 multicast address: 239.255.219.45
.. IPv6 multicast address: FF05::fAA5:741E.
I tried to set these settings in Isa but I can't make an connection. In
configured the following on my Isa 2004
- Access Rule from Internal to Localhost
- Protocols: TCP 9876 Inbound
UDP 9876 Send
UDP 9877 Send
Ofcourse I'n doing something wrong. But don't now what?? Can anyone help me.
Thx.
Ramon
